Rules of Play
The monthly lottery will take place from December 8th, 2025 to November 26, 2026 at Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation located at 3045 Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON K2H 8P4 and online at www.qchfoundation.ca.
If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible to purchase 50/50 draw tickets:
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase
• Must be located in Ontario at the time of purchase
The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation 50/50 draw(s). These exclusion aim to maintain the impartiality and fairness of the draw process by preventing any potential conflicts of interest. Violation of this prohibition will result in immediate disqualification, and any tickets purchased will be deemed void. No refunds allowed.
• An employee of the AGCO
• Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation staff as well as family members living in the same household
• Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation Board of Directors as well as family members living in the same household.
• Any and all current staff members of BUMP, a Division of Canadian Bank Note Company, including employees and contractors, are ineligible to purchase tickets or participate in any capacity within the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation 50/50
• Members of the Queensway Carleton Hospital’s Senior Leadership Team, including the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief of Staff, Vice-Presidents and any other designated senior executive roles within the organization (and any immediate family members or residents within the same household).
Note: Prior to the purchase of a ticket online, you will be required to verify your eligibility and that the information is complete and accurate.
Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by BUMP, a division of Canadian Bank Note Company (CBN).
Tickets can be purchased at Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation located at 3045 Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON K2H 8P4 and online at the website www.qch5050.com.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 for 5 numbers, $25 for 25 numbers, $50 for 100 numbers, $75 for 300 numbers and $100 for 500 numbers.
After purchasing, patrons will be emailed a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Number Issuing System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

50/50 Ticket Sales close at 11:59 P.M. EST on the Thursday before the draw dates below. The winning 50/50 number will be announced at 11 A.M. the following day. It will also be posted on our website at QCH5050.com.

One cash prize will be awarded for each draw, the winning ticket will be posted on the www.qch5050.com website.
The winning ticket holder has six (6) months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw with which their ticket was purchased.
The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet and send it to 5050@qch.on.ca or call 613-721-4731.
The winner may claim their prize by contacting Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation at: 613-721-4731 or by email at: 5050@qch.on.ca. The ticket may then be brought to the Foundation office at 3045 Baseline Road, at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be awarded the prize amount by cheque. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
The winner will also be contacted directly by a representative from Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation by phone and/or email.
Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safe and held for six (6) months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to Queensway Carleton Hospital with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Monthly 50/50 Lottery Subscriptions:
When you purchase your tickets you will have the opportunity to subscribe for automatic purchases for future monthly draws as listed in the draw schedule.
To subscribe to purchase monthly tickets you must opt-in to confirm, proceed through the checkout process. Before you proceed to provide payment details, you will be given the option to subscribe to future daily draws for the Lottery. Select the price point you wish to subscribe to, the quantity you wish to purchase for each draw, and continue to purchase your tickets. Once you have opted-in to be a monthly lottery subscriber you will be subscribed for future monthly lottery draws as noted in the Draw Schedule using the payment method selected for your purchase.
Once you have opted-in to be a monthly lottery subscriber, your subscription purchases will begin with the next monthly Lottery and continue until you cancel your subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply go into your account and unsubscribe. You can access or create your account at any time on the website by clicking on the Subscription Account link on the top of the web page.
You can also unsubscribe by sending us an email containing the receipt of your ticket purchases. Make sure you send it from the email address you used to subscribe.
If your credit card is declined, your raffle ticket purchase will not be processed, and you will be automatically unsubscribed from your raffle subscription. To re-subscribe, you will need to go through the subscription process once again and provide your updated credit card details.
Your credit card on file will only be charged when the new monthly Lottery opens and is triggered by the Foundation. You will be charged once on the day that the monthly draw opens. Should you wish to purchase additional tickets, you can do so through the checkout process and make another purchase.
You will have the option to pick the price point you wish to subscribe to, the quantity you wish to purchase, as well as the amount of different price points you wish to purchase.
An account is required for subscription management (i.e. cancelling subscription). The account is created after the subscription is created; the user does not create an account to initiate the subscription. All payment methods will be available.
